Diagnostic information is often useful in a particular context. Dashboards are a great way of saving these metrics and grouping them together for easy access when needed. For example you might want to create a dashboard to show the health of some particularly important services. In this dashboard you can include charts on metoro-collected data like traces, APM data, log information and container metrics. Then show that side by side with custom metrics emitted from your services. When creating a dashboard, Metoro can start from a dashboard template instead of a blank canvas. Templates cover common service and infrastructure views, and include configurable SLO templates for availability, latency, error rate, and custom MetoroQL metrics. See Dashboard Templates. Controlling Metric Intervals

Use the Interval dropdown in the dashboard toolbar to control the time bucket used by every metric widget on the dashboard, including charts, stats, gauges, bar gauges, pie charts, and tables. This is useful when you want all widgets to show the same level of detail without editing each widget separately. Select Chart default to use the bucket configured on each widget. Selecting another interval temporarily overrides those widget settings for the current dashboard view. The available intervals are limited to the active time range; if you shorten the range so that the selected interval is no longer valid, the dashboard returns to Chart default. The dashboard interval does not override charts with their own independent time controls, such as charts in the comparison dialog or charts generated by Guardian.

Dashboards View

The dashboards view in Metoro shows all the dashboards that have been created in your organization. Use alert and dashboard tags to group dashboards across folders and filter list or tree results with match-any semantics. Tags are organization-wide metadata and do not change resource permissions. Each dashboard has a unique internal URL that you can share with Metoro users who have access to your organization, for example, this test dashboard. Use public dashboard access when you want a password-protected link for viewers outside your Metoro organization.
