Kubernetes Observability with an AI SRE Agent

Metoro collects logs, metrics, traces, profiling, Kubernetes events, and deployment context from your cluster with eBPF.

AI agents use that context to detect production issues, investigate alerts, verify deployments, identify root causes, and open fix PRs.

Observability · out of the box

One collector. Seven signals.
No code changes.

Metoro's collector runs as a DaemonSet on every node and captures the full telemetry stack at the kernel with no code changes, no SDKs, and no restarts. Every signal arrives pre-correlated with Kubernetes identity, so services, pods, and deploys already line up when the agent goes looking.

Unified store · One query language across all signalsOpenTelemetry / Prometheus-compatible for anything eBPF can't see
Install · under 5 minutes

One Helm install. No code changes.

Metoro installs as a DaemonSet. Because collection happens in the kernel via eBPF, there are no SDKs to add, no containers to restart, and nothing to change in your application code. It works the same on EKS, GKE, AKS, OpenShift, or bare-metal Kubernetes.

The AI SRE Agent

Your clusters, now with an AI SRE Agent on it 24/7.

The same data that powers your dashboards becomes context for an agent that watches production continuously - detecting regressions, investigating alerts, verifying deploys, and opening fix PRs for issues as they arise.

AI Issue Detection and Fixes

Detection, investigation, remediation. Automated.

Metoro autonomously monitors all your services and infrastructure to detect issues. Once an issue is detected, Metoro automatically root causes it and opens a pull request with a fix.

AI Deployment Verification

Every deployment. Checked and verified.

Metoro detects every change across your clusters. After a change is detected, Metoro analyzes the change (code or config) and verifies that production behavior is not impacted.

AI Alert Investigations

Every alert, auto-investigated.

Metoro investigates each alert automatically, filters the noise, and returns root cause and next steps before on-call digs in so you can can wake up to answers, not problems.

How Metoro Differs

AI SRE Agents needs complete context

Most AI SREs inherit missing context, we don't. Every call. Every operation. We capture it at the kernel level with eBPF and kubernetes native observability.

Typical AI SRE
Inherited context
Telemetrypartial / unstructured
Inherited signals are incomplete and inconsistent across teams.
Code + Inframissing / dirty
Built for every architecture at once, so runtime context gets broader, noisier, and less reliable.
Outcomeguesswork
Missing context, dead ends, and weaker root cause analysis.
Guesswork
Missing context slows down detection, weakens RCA, and leaves more unanswered questions.
Metoro
Complete context
Telemetrye2e coverage
eBPF covers the cluster, with custom OpenTelemetry for app-specific signals.
Code + Infrafull context
Kubernetes-native context is already mapped, so the AI starts with clean workload awareness.
Outcomeunified context
Complete context before investigation starts.
Unified Context
Metoro gives the model the telemetry, workload, and deployment context it needs before the investigation begins.

FAQs

Everything you need to know about the product and billing. Cannot find the answer? Ask us in our Slack community.

What is eBPF?
eBPF is a linux kernel technology that allows us to run code in response to events that happen in the kernel. This allows us to collect telemetry data at the kernel level for each container so you do not have to instrument or restart any of your containers. Checkout more at ebpf.io.
What happens if there's a bug in Metoro? Will it crash my host?
This is a great question and this was previously a problem with linux kernel modules. However, eBPF is explicitly designed in such a way that an ebpf program crash will not cause the kernel to crash. More info at ebpf.io safety section.
How does Metoro work without manual instrumentation?
Metoro uses our own eBPF programs that are loaded into the kernel of all your nodes in the Kubernetes cluster. This means you do not need to restart your containers to start collecting data.
Which LLM providers does Metoro support for AI features?
Metoro currently uses OpenAI models for its AI features. The cloud offering uses Microsoft's hosted OpenAI API.
Do you offer on-premises installations?
Yes, we do as part of our enterprise offering. Please contact us for more information.
Do I need to enter my credit card details to sign up?
No, you do not need to enter your credit card details to sign up. You can sign up for free and use Metoro for free for limited workloads. When you are ready just upgrade to a paid plan.
Where are your docs?
How do I contact support?
We are available at our community slack, head on over! If you are a customer, reach out via your dedicated slack connect channel.
