# Migration

> How to migrate a 9.x deployment to 10.x

Metoro 10.x uses a different standalone chart API than 9.x. Do not manually copy a 9.x values file into a 10.x installation.

To migrate, reach out to your Metoro representative and ask for the 9.x to 10.x configuration conversion script. The script converts existing 9.x configuration into values compatible with the 10.x `metoro-onprem` chart.

When you contact Metoro, include:

* your current 9.x chart version
* your current 9.x values file
* whether PostgreSQL and ClickHouse are bundled or externally managed
* any custom ingress, OIDC, storage, backup, or image settings

Metoro will help review the converted values and confirm the right migration path before you apply the 10.x installation.
